Philadelphia Commercial Building Asbestos Abatement and Demolition

Plymouth was contracted by a Real Estate Developer to perform Asbestos Abatement & Complete Demolition of a Commercial Building standing at 3-Stories with a 43,000 sf footprint  in Philadelphia. The Asbestos Abatement scope was extensive and involved the removal of seam flashing from the roof, cope stone flashing, duct insulation, pipe insulation, tank insulation, floor tile and mastic, fireproofing on steel columns and beams. The Complete Demolition included the whole brick/block structure from the roof down to the basement slab. Plymouth is on track to complete this project on time and within budget.

Penn State University Boiler Asbestos Abatement & Demolition

Plymouth Environmental is contracted by the Pennsylvania State University to aid in their pursuit of greater sustainability with their conversion to cleaner energy. Plymouth has completed the 2nd Phase of the project which included Asbestos Abatement and Boiler Demolition. By projects end, Plymouth will have successfully completed the Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of 3, four story coal stacked boilers and associated piping. The coal fired boilers will be replaced by two, new, high-capacity, natural gas-fired coilers which will reduce the plant’s total emissions by nearly 50 percent.
